Takao YAMADA Chairman One of Japan's best-known graphic designers, he studied design at Kogei High School in Osaka and joined the Yoshio Hayakawa Design Office in 1961. In 1971 he founded his own design company, which was reorganized in 1977 as TCD Corporation. Perennially at the cutting edge of the industry, he has developed identity systems, graphics, packaging and environmental designs for an extensive range of clients, winning awards from the Osaka Advertising Association, Japan Sign Design Contest, NAAC and NY Art Directors Club. His work is represented in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art (NY). |

Akira IWANO Vice Chairman A graduate of Kanazawa College of Art, he served as senior advertising designer for the prestigious Takashimaya Department Store for six years from 1971, where his work won accolades including the Asahi and Nikkei prizes for advertising. In 1977 he joined TCD as a creative director. His extensive design direction experience in numerous genres includes creation of CI and BI systems for leading firms in the distribution industry, packaging, events, advertising and Web design. |

Kazuo OKADA President After graduating from the Osaka University of Foreign Studies (1977), he served five years on the marketing and planning staff of a major advertising agency before joining TCD to take charge of planning and account management for a broad range of clients. With comprehensive knowledge of the advertising business, he is also active in CI and BI development, marketing communications, product development and commercial institution development. |
